Privacy & browser storage

How this website handles inquiry details, technical information, and your display preferences.

Updated October 3, 2026

Who is responsible

WardenIT operates this website. For privacy questions or requests, email alex@wardenit.com. This notice covers the public website and initial business inquiries. Customer environments and contracted services may need additional privacy and processing terms in the relevant agreement.

Information you provide

An inquiry can include your name, organization, email address, selected service, and message. Use only the information needed to explain the work. Do not submit passwords, API keys, payment card information, or confidential customer records. We use inquiry details to respond, discuss scope, and manage the business relationship.

How the contact tools work

The current contact form prepares an email in your email application; it does not automatically submit the form to WardenIT. You can also copy or download the prepared request. WardenIT receives the information when you actually send the email. Your email provider processes that message under its own terms. If direct website submission is enabled in the future, this notice will be updated to describe it.

Technical information and security

Hosting and network-security systems may process IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps, browser information, and error or security events to serve the site and protect it. These records are distinct from VPN connection or traffic records. A displayed server inventory flag is not a privacy or logging guarantee about a VPN service.

Cookies and local storage

The website stores your light/dark choice in your browser under wardenit-theme. It contains a display preference, not your inquiry details. Clearing site data removes it. The site does not currently include advertising trackers or an analytics script. Hosting or security providers may use essential security cookies or process request metadata; browser settings let you manage cookies and storage.

Service providers and disclosure

Website hosting, network protection, and business email providers may process information needed to deliver these functions, potentially outside your country. We do not sell inquiry details. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to address abuse, security incidents, or a legal claim. Contracted services can involve additional providers and disclosures identified in the service agreement.

Retention and safeguards

Inquiry correspondence is kept as needed to respond, manage an engagement, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal requirements. Technical-record retention depends on the hosting and security systems involved. We use access controls and other reasonable safeguards; email should not be treated as a secure channel for secrets. A specific deletion timeline is not promised by this notice.

Your choices and requests

Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your inquiry, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify your identity. Legal, security, or recordkeeping requirements can limit deletion. Withdrawing permission to use information may affect our ability to respond or provide a requested service.

Updates

Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Questions about Canadian private-sector privacy rights can also be directed to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
